Job Description
Title: Labor & Delivery RN - Nursery RN

Schedule: 12 hr nights

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 72-80 working hours every two weeks

Requirements:
- Must have Labor and Delivery experience
- Current Hawaii License
- Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients during labor and delivery processes.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal well-being during labor.
- Manage newborn care in the nursery and assist with couplet care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care outcomes.
- Participate in patient education related to labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Document all nursing care and procedures accurately in patient records.

Compliance / Notes:
- Reference checks should be sent via email. Do not call for reference checks.
- May float to assist other departments but not as a primary nurse.
- Additional compensation of $2.00/hr for charge nurse duties, when assigned.
