This remote position provides flexibility in scheduling, with options for 4x10 or 5x8 shifts available from 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct meaningful psychotherapy and counseling sessions with individuals, groups, couples, and families to address mental health issues and emotional concerns.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques to evaluate client needs, gathering social, personal, and environmental information through interviews.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, assessing client progress and modifying strategies as required to optimize outcomes.

• Coordinate programs and activities that promote social and emotional well-being and support clients in navigating community resources.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention and short-term solution-focused counseling to clients in immediate need, ensuring swift access to supportive resources.

• Establish and nurture trusting relationships with clients, fostering an environment of respect and acceptance.
\n
• Document all therapeutic interventions and client progress in comprehensive case files, ensuring adherence to organizational protocols and confidentiality standards.

• Maintain an appropriate caseload and ensure timely updates of all client documentation, reflecting current services provided.

• Provide individual clinical counseling and may also engage in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW in a school setting, you will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families dealing with a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Your role is vital in enabling young individuals to develop healthy coping mechanisms and navigate their emotional and social challenges effectively. Furthermore, you will engage in family counseling sessions aimed at improving communication and support systems within the household.

Qualifications\n
