Role Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessment tools and observational methods.
• Craft tailored treatment strategies to address both short-term goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care approaches.
• Provide education to patients and families to empower them in supporting therapeutic gains beyond clinical visits.
• Assist with periodic inpatient speech evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the patient journey.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Update your skills and knowledge through continual education and teamwork initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of onboarding.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for all ages with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and documentation practices.
