Welder/Fabricator - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Welder/Fabricator• Pay Rate Range: $25.00-$33.00/hr• Location: Saint Paul, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 5AM-3:30PM• Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:• Minimum 3 years of experience in a metal fabrication environment.• Proficiency in MIG welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.• Strong understanding of welding processes and materials.• Working Knowledge of mathematics.• Mechanical aptitude• Willingness to learn.• Trade School is a plus but not required.• Ability to lift 50lbs.Duties and Responsibilities:• Fabricate components to print specifications using MIG and TIG welding techniques.• Assemble and weld large, fabricated units with precision and attention to detail.• Demonstrate proper welder setup and adjustment.• Operate a manual plasma cutter.• Identify steel wire alloys and corresponding gas mixes and their applications.• Recognize common steel alloys and apply appropriate welding procedures.
