ES Portfolio Support Program Manager

Program Manager Supporting the Emerging Sensors Portfolio Program Manager supporting the Emerging Sensors portfolio. Responsible for managing risk & opportunities, capturing new business and execution. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. Qualifications Proposal experience including ability to manage proposal preparation through leadership reviews and delivery of the proposal as well as demonstrated ability to provide proposal inputs Experience with managing risk and opportunities Experience with execution of development programs or production programs Experience with EVMS planning, execution and reporting Demonstrated capability to successfully balance technical, cost and schedule performance in the execution of a program or project Solid understanding of key programmatic processes to include IRAD and capital planning, EVMS reporting, and program baseline process Active secret clearance Desired Skills Program Management experience Risk & Opportunity experience Familiar with capturing new business in accordance with the Win Plan Strong customer experience Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
