Job Description: Manager, Project Management

Location: WV040

Work Type: 100% Telecommute

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, with lunch break

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• 3+ years of Release Management experience across multiple teams.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
• 2+ years of project management experience with a State Medicaid Agency or a large healthcare management organization.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (required).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional matrixed teams.
• Experience conducting milestone reviews and release diagnostics.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with an Integrated Eligibility project.
• 2+ years ’ experience in projects within the M&O phase .
• Knowledge of H.R.1 (Big Beautiful Bill) .
• Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
• Experience with ServiceNow .
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
• Proficiency with MS Project and MS Visio .

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of IT project management and leadership.
• 3+ years of client-facing experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple maintenance/enhancement releases annually (12–14 per year) and weekly hotfix deployments.
• Strong background in Release Management and SDLC.
• Experience working in a State or large healthcare setting.
• Proven ability to build productive client relationships and manage risks/issues.
• PMP certified.

Licenses/Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) – Required
