Research Assistant - Part Time

Classification​: Part-Time; Hourly; Non-Exempt
Salary Range : $17.50 per hour
Reports to: Principal Investigator and the Investigator’s collaborators.

JOB SUMMARY:
DRI seeks a Part-Time Research Assistant who will work under the supervision of Dr. Rasouli.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project management support (e.g., tracking timelines and milestones; communications management, printing, filing, maintaining subject binders for Research Coordinators).
• Project administrative support (e.g., meetings, research and project files).
• Regulatory compliance.
• Qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Dissemination of research findings (e.g., support manuscript writing, presentation of results, research reports, and use of alternative and social media).
• Position is prohibited from any interaction with VA subjects and/or VA subject data.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree (BS or BA) or higher in a related field
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
• Proven ability to work with participants with high complexity, both medically and psychosocially
• Desire to learn and work collaboratively with a team
• Ability to work individually and as a team to support team-based science

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a business-casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds. You may be required to wear a facial mask and/or work remotely.
