Description - Your Role

• Conduct routine and complex clinical lab tests across various disciplines-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection as required and prepare samples for testing.
• Document all procedures in detail, assist in training newcomers or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality assurance.
• Ensure a clean and safe lab environment while adhering strictly to regulatory standards and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ensure ongoing certification is maintained throughout your tenure.
