Description – What You'll Do

• Execute routine and specialized laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, and immunology—adhering to well-established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of samples and prepare specimens for testing as necessary.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, participate in training new staff or students, and help uphold the highest quality standards in the laboratory.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment while strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science must be obtained within a year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout employment is required.
