• Assist with specimen collection and preparation for various tests as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new colleagues or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and hygienic workspace while adhering strictly to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent allied health education, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
