Customs Entry Specialist

Customs Entry Specialist Pay Range: $48,000 - $60,000 Your Role As part of a shared service center that serves multiple branches, the Customs Entry Specialist processes Customs Entries in a timely manner and with accuracy. What You’ll Do Receives import files to clear through Customs Ensure import clearance files are compliant with US Customs regulations Resolve and communicate clearance issues with internal team members and customers Prioritize shipments based on ETA or other factors Process customs bonds as needed Process steel licenses as needed Communicate entry release Ensure each file is invoiced correctly Help identify areas that need improvement Assist with new customer implementation Stay up to date with current regulations with US Customs What We’re Looking For Education and Experience 2-5 years of processing customs entries CHB License is a plus Skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web‑based and job specific software applications. Extensive Excel experience; Adobe PDF knowledge is a plus Fluent in English, both written and oral Characteristics Ability to learn all aspects of the team’s work, and to provide cover and assistance on a regular basis. Organizational and time‑management skills. Self‑starter, sense of urgency, communication.
