Pay $70,600~$90,200 per year Salary Details - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Employment Type Part-time Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license for the State of South Carolina. Current X-ray/Radiography certification. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards. High energy, patience, and a genuine love for working with children. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Job Description Pediatric Prophylaxis: Perform gentle and thorough dental cleanings suitable for pediatric patients. Diagnostic Imaging: Capture high-quality dental radiographs, including bitewing and panoramic X-rays. Patient Education: Teach children and parents about proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventative health in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. Patient Comfort: Create a welcoming and safe atmosphere to ease anxiety and ensure children have a positive dental experience. Infection Control: adhere strictly to healthcare infection prevention protocols and sterilization standards. Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards. Collaboration: Assist the dentist and team members to ensure efficient patient flow and scheduling.
