Direct Counsel is representing a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a midlevel Corporate Associate (3–5 years) to join its sophisticated Corporate & Business Transactions practice group.
Locations : Boston | Hartford | Houston | Los Angeles | New York | Orange County | Philadelphia | Pittsburgh | Silicon Valley | San Francisco
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong M&A and private equity transactional experience to work on complex domestic and cross-border transactions within a highly regarded national corporate platform.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in sophisticated:
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Private Equity transactions
- General corporate transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction agreements and related deal documentation
- Work closely with clients, investors, and deal teams throughout all stages of transactions
- Advise clients on strategic corporate and transactional matters across a variety of industries
- 3–5 years of large law firm corporate transactional experience
- Strong background in:
- M&A transactions
- Private Equity deals
- Transaction drafting and negotiation
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong organizational, drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of the office of interest required
Expected salary range in California, New York, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.: $225,000 – $435,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
