The Opportunity

As a Director Product Management for the Bank you will lead the strategy performance and lifecycle management of a portfolio of bank products ensuring offerings deliver strong member value sustainable financial performance and regulatory compliance. Oversee a team responsible for product strategy roadmap execution and performance optimization using market insights analytics and member feedback to inform decisions. Partner across the organization to define product vision prioritize investments and deliver solutions aligned to business strategy risk appetite and member needs. Drive continuous product improvement while building organizational capability in data-driven product management and agile delivery practices.

What youll do:

• Lead the development and execution of a multiyear product strategy roadmap by analyzing market dynamics identifying opportunities and competitive threats and prioritizing innovation aligned with company goals and member needs.
• Identify market opportunities competitive threats and innovation priorities.
• Oversee full product lifecycle including design launch optimization and retirement decisions.
• Lead prioritization of enhancements features and investments using data financial analysis and member insights.
• In partnership with marketing and distribution teams lead go-to-market strategy and cross-functional alignment to ensure compelling product value propositions and strong product adoption across the bank.
• Use performance metrics financial modeling and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
• Establishe measurable success criteria and monitors portfolio health; Interprets performance results to inform product or sales forecast and planning.
• Ensure insights research and analysis are productive and evaluates performance metrics to drive recommendations for market opportunities or product enhancements.
• Build strong partnerships across technology operations marketing finance and risk.
• Lead product innovation while ensuring alignment with business objectives risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
• Develop recommendations to launch new products and the evaluation and decision to buy/build or partner.
• Coordinate with relevant control partners (to include Legal Compliance and Risk Management) to ensure product offerings are designed implemented and managed in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Build and oversees a team of product professionals through ongoing execution of recruiting development retention coaching and support performance management and managerial activities.
• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified measured monitored and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

• Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Supply Chain or Statistics; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 8 years of relevant industry experience in Financial Services Product Management Strategy Marketing Sales and Service Finance/Accounting Operations or related disciplines.
• 4 years of product management portfolio leadership or similar strategic management experience including direct responsibility forbusiness or product performance and growth.
• 3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
• Experience using data and analytics toidentifygrowth opportunities evaluate acquisition and funnel performance and influence business decisions.
• Experience creating compelling data-driven narratives and presenting strategic recommendationsto executive leadership.
• Experience managing product performance strategic planning prioritization roadmapsand go-to-market execution.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a regulated environment.
• Experience translating market member competitive and performance insights into product or growth strategies.
• Knowledge of applicable banking laws regulations risk management and compliance requirements.

What sets you apart:

• Experience with consumer deposits depositacquisition or digital banking platforms.
• Experience driving acquisition funnel optimization conversion or other measurable growth outcomes.
• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $143320 - $273930.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
