# Production Worker Temp (Pre-Assembly)**Temporary Employment Position****Job Summary**Duties include supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment; operate machinery, record inspected products, load and unload materials, count and determine completion of orders.**Primary Duties and Responsibilities*** Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.* Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.* Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.* Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.* Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.* Mark or tag identification on parts.* Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.* Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, and cleaning of doors and frame components.* Clean and lubricate equipment* Record information such as the number of products inspected, and dates and times of product production* Other assigned tasks at direction of Supervision.**Education and Experience Profile*** High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.* These occupations often involve using your knowledge and skills to help others**Required Skills*** Mechanical ability.* Reading various dimensional mythology instruments.* Production & Processing: knowledge or ray materials, production processes, and quality control.**Tools and Technology:*** Forklifts* Hammers - Claw hammers* Hoists - Power hoists* Jacks - Hand jacks; Pipe jacks* Ladders - Platform ladders* Screwdrivers - Phillips head screwdrivers; Straight screwdrivers* Slings - Material-hoisting slings* Tape measures - Measuring tapes* Variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, power tools such as saws* Mechanical machines* Paint systems* Assembly operations**Work Environment:**Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this job/classification.
