Community Green Landscape Group is seeking an experienced Safety & Asset Manager to lead safety initiatives and oversee company fleet, equipment, and asset management across our Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati operations. This role is responsible for developing a culture of safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk, improving equipment reliability, and maximizing asset performance throughout the organization. We're looking for a proactive leader who can partner with field operations, train employees, improve processes, and ensure our teams have the tools and resources needed to operate safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

Safety Leadership

• Develop, implement, and enforce company safety programs for commercial landscape operations
• Conduct routine jobsite inspections, audits, and field safety assessments
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and implement corrective actions
• Lead employee safety training, onboarding, and toolbox talks
• Promote proper PPE usage and safe operation of vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Maintain safety documentation, including training records, SDS logs, inspections, and incident reports
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a strong culture of accountability and safety

Asset & Fleet Management

• Oversee the inventory, maintenance, and lifecycle management of company assets, including trucks, trailers, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and specialized equipment
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Implement and maintain asset tracking systems and equipment utilization processes
