Summary/Objective:

Provide prompt and efficient technical support on computer systems and applications at companies located in Madison, NJ, Elizabeth, NJ, Lakewood, NJ. Troubleshoot problems and communicate on the appropriate action in a customer-oriented manner.

Essential Functions and projects:

• Serve as first point of contact for technical assistance in person, via phone, e-mail, Teams, Service Desk
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Research questions using available information resources
• Advise user on issue and resolution process
• Follow standard help desk procedures
• Log all help desk interactions
• Install/configure computers & printers
• Escalate requests to next level support
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
• Inform management of recurring problems

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with IT or Computer Science major required
• Working knowledge and experience of computer, printers, software, network, IT security, Windows OS, Office 365
• Must be able to move/lift computers, monitors, and printers
• Excellent communication skills, Customer oriented
• Follow up standard procedures before making any changes
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Customer oriented

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000, plus bonus. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Our company will be relocating to a new corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ in Q1 of 2027. Candidates should be comfortable with this upcoming change in location.
