Key Responsibilities Construct and set forms to retain concrete and apply expansion materials. Excavate work areas, remove old concrete and materials using power tools and saws. Pour and finish concrete for curbs, gutters, sidewalks, foundations, ramps, and catch basins. Use power finishing tools, floats, trowels, vibrators, edgers, and brooms to achieve desired finish. Read and follow blueprints, grade sheets, and flow lines; transfer grade to job site. Operate small machinery such as skid steers and mini excavators. Accept responsibility for job site safety and report unsafe conditions. Perform additional tasks as assigned in support of construction operations. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of concrete construction experience, with at least 1 year specifically in concrete finishing. Proficient with finishing tools and methods. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade sheets, and worksite plans. Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Must meet all safety requirements and follow safety protocols. Willingness to work overtime when required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Must be able to stand and walk up to 7 hours a day; sit and drive for shorter durations. Full range of motion, including bending, crouching, climbing, and handling tools. Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
