Industrial Automation Engineer

Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment including PLC-controlled systems, robotics, conveyors, and CNC-related automation Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a manufacturing environment Support and maintain PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, servos, and industrial communication networks Assist with programming updates, system backups, and technical documentation Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment uptime and reliability Support equipment installation, startup, and commissioning activities Collaborate with engineering and production to improve cycle times, efficiency, and process capability Follow all safety procedures including lockout tagout protocols Maintain accurate maintenance and system records Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts Requirements Associate degree or technical certification in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial automation Robotics experience required Working knowledge of PLC platforms such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar Experience with industrial electrical systems including 480V, control wiring, sensors, and safety components Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Experience in metal casting, machining, or heavy manufacturing environments Familiarity with CNC automation and supporting equipment is a plus Experience with vision systems or automated material handling systems is a plus Experience with Fanuc robotics is a plus A bit about us We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to support automated manufacturing operations.
