Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!

Job Description:

- Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Location: Good Samaritan Hospital, San Jose, CA
- Unit Information:
- *Number of Beds:* 36
- *Number of Staff:* 113
- *Staff Composition:* Varied
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 Sitters
- Night Shift: Patient Ratios 4:1 (with critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1)
- *Type of Equipment:* Phillips EMR - Meditech

- What We Are Looking For:
- *Must Have:*
- 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital
- *Preferred/Nice to Have:*
- Charge nurse experience
- Prior travel/interim experience working in California

- Typical Procedures Performed:
- Stroke management
- STEMI care

- Ideal Candidate:
- A true team player with a passion for emergency care!

- Required Certifications:
- PALS
- ACLS
- BLS

- Work Schedule:
- Every other weekend
