Insurance Restoration Estimator

Upper Restoration is a Property Restoration company serving Long Island, 5 boroughs of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. We specialize in the Water / Flood Damage, Fire Damage and Mold Remediation for Commercial and Residential Properties.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the construction field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspecting and investigating complex residential & commercial large losses.
• Providing Property owner's with detailed damage estimates and personal property inventories.
• Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing Xactimate, XACTanalysis, DocuSketch, MICA and other proprietary software.
• Negotiating and settling claims in a timely manner.

• Ability to work in a multi-faceted environment with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Be able to work in a fast paced office environment.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Ability to Multitask and prioritize.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented.

REQUIRED:

• Must have experience with a major insurance carrier or restoration company.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an estimator/project manager/claims adjuster.
• Proficient utilizing the Xactimate software.

Other:

• Bilingual is a plus.
