Entry Level HVAC Estimator

ADE Systems, Inc.

Job Description

Prominent Metropolitan HVAC manufacturer’s representative company is seeking Entry-Level Estimators to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, have knowledge and ease of navigating computers & software, showing attention to detail, work well with peers and take direction from management.

We will offer training to a suitable non-experienced candidate who demonstrates the ability of being able to handle the work.

Estimator Responsibilities:

Read and understand mechanical drawings
Use manufacturers software
Complete takeoffs from mechanical drawings
Provide detailed quotes based on the takeoffs
Price up all products represented by ADE
Prepare detailed proposals
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

** AutoCAD or 3D Modeling Program experience not required **

Preferred Background

Experience in the construction industry
Computer skills preferred: Takeoff Software (PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, etc...), Microsoft Excel knowledge, Enterprise Resource Planning Software (Microsoft Navision)
Other skills required: Organization, Ability to learn, High attention to detail
