Entry Level HVAC Estimator

Prominent Metropolitan HVAC manufacturer’s representative company is seeking Entry-Level Estimators to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, have knowledge and ease of navigating computers & software, showing attention to detail, work well with peers and take direction from management.We will offer training to a suitable non-experienced candidate who demonstrates the ability of being able to handle the work.
Estimator Responsibilities:
- Read and understand mechanical drawings
- Use manufacturers software
- Complete takeoffs from mechanical drawings
- Provide detailed quotes based on the takeoffs
- Price up all products represented by ADE
- Prepare detailed proposals
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
** AutoCAD or 3D Modeling Program experience not required **
Preferred Background
- Experience in the construction industry
- Computer skills preferred: Takeoff Software (PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, etc...), Microsoft Excel knowledge, Enterprise Resource Planning Software (Microsoft Navision)
- Other skills required: Organization, Ability to learn, High attention to detail
