Founding Account Executive

\n

Independent contractor. Remote, with state limits. Not a W-2 job and not an equity grant.

The recruiting title is Founding Account Executive. The signed agreement is Independent Sales Partner; however, your job title and company designation will be Founding Account Executive. The title does not make you an employee, member, or owner.

\n

Carbynix builds evidence-grade Managed Detection and Response for regulated small businesses. Alerts go through a forensic reasoning pipeline and produce a signed investigation record, not just a notification. We are veteran-owned and pursuing SDVOSB certification. Published pricing: Guardian $15 per endpoint per month, Fortress $22.

This is commission-only. No salary, no draw, no benefits, and no guaranteed earnings.

\n

The work

\n

· Sell Carbynix MDR into regulated verticals such as law, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, professional services, and similar. We're looking for prior professional experience selling into those verticals.

\n

· Where it fits, recruit MSP and MSSP partners into the white-label channel.

\n

· You originate and work your own deals. Carbynix approves pricing and signs the customer contract.

\n

· No exclusive territory. No quota. No required hours, scripts, or activity scorecards.

\n

You set methods, hours, and tools. You use your own computer and workspace. You may take other non-conflicting clients. The engagement is not exclusive.

\n

Pay

Commission is paid only on Collected Revenue (cash Carbynix actually receives, net of refunds, credits, and chargebacks). New-packet rates by product:

· Self-sourced: you originated and closed the account without a Company lead or introduction.

\n

· Company-sourced: the account started from a Company lead, campaign, event, or introduction.

\n

· Source is set in writing when the opportunity is registered. If it is not agreed in writing, it is company-sourced.

\n

· Expansion (upsell, seats, tier change you caused) uses the same source rate for the first 12 months of that expansion amount.

\n

Illustrations only, not expected earnings. 100 Guardian endpoints at $15/month is $18,000 collected in a year: $4,500 self-sourced or $3,600 company-sourced. 100 Fortress endpoints at $22/month is $26,400 collected: $5,280 self-sourced or $3,960 company-sourced.

Equity and employment

\n

Pay under this role is commission only. After we have worked together, Carbynix may open a separate conversation about equity, employment, or both. That conversation is optional. This posting does not grant equity, ownership, or a job, and no review or sales result creates a right to any of those. Anything in that category exists only if a later written agreement says so.

\n

Where you can work

\n

Do not apply from California, Massachusetts, Illinois, or Vermont. This 1099 model is not available there.

\n

Everywhere else: tell us your work state first. Some states (including Georgia, Maryland, New Hampshire, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and similar) get a separate short questionnaire before any contract. Utah also gets a commission-timing rider. Colorado has a separate notice step. Favorable answers do not by themselves clear anyone.

\n

Work starts only after screening is cleared, the current packet is fully signed, and Carbynix sends written activation. Do not sell before that.

\n
