As a Security Officer Defensive Driving Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the chance to support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, corridors, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership or emergency personnel as needed.
• Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with security-related inquiries, and following post orders for after-hours checks, opening, and/or closing activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
