Property Accountant - Owned Assets

Job Overview Foresite Commercial Real Estate is seeking an Experienced Commercial (Retail) Property Accountant. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance while supporting the organization’s financial operations. Responsibilities Supervise, track, and evaluate day‑to‑day accounting activities. Establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting and maintaining accounting records. Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports. Assist with month‑end close processes, including bank reconciliations and allocation of journal entries. Facilitate financial data to assist in property‑level tax returns and complete monthly financial reporting as required by the company. Review and maintain the general ledger for properties. Process transactions, review invoices, post rent payments, and maintain records to support property managers. Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to analyze financial information and reconcile financial statements. Support the Corporate Accounting team with monthly close activities and statutory compliance for legal entities. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or property accounting. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements. Strong understanding of GAAP and property accounting practices. Ability to maintain accurate financial records and support internal controls. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred: experience in commercial real‑estate accounting. Compensation Annual salary: $85,000.00 per year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
