Physical Therapist

We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a diverse patient population and a supportive environment.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

Shift Length: 8 hours

Weekend Requirement: Candidates must be available to work either every Saturday or every Sunday

Holidays: Must work holidays as per the permanent staff rotation, typically involving one major and one minor holiday

Unit: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy

Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner

Common Diagnoses: Rehabilitation: Spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, some orthopedic cases

General Inpatient: Orthopedic, medical, surgical, bariatrics, ICU, and cardiac care

Sub-acute: Vented patients and long-term care

Areas of Coverage: General inpatient, rehab, sub-acute, outpatient orthopedics, and sports medicine

Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Speech Therapists must have Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

Preferred Skills: Experience in swallow studies for Speech Therapists; occupational therapists with swallow experience are preferred but not required

Candidates will be required to complete a floor-specific orientation of 3 shifts. Uniforms will include a provided polo and the choice of khakis or black pants. Our facilities operate with a 24/7 pharmacy to better serve our patients.
