Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

About the Role

Join a commercial real estate team at an established New Jersey law firm, supporting sophisticated transactions for developers, property owners, investors, and lenders. This senior role calls for someone who can independently manage key closing and post-closing work while coordinating closely with clients, counsel, and title companies.

What You'll Do

• Order and review title commitments and surveys, and help resolve title objections.

• Prepare closing documents, maintain checklists, and coordinate funds flow for commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactions.

• Manage due diligence, entity documents, and estoppels across multiple active matters.

• Coordinate post-closing recordings, filings, and follow-up items.

• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and title companies with limited partner oversight.

What We're Looking For

• Five to fifteen years of recent, continuous experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, preferably in New Jersey law firm practice.

• Hands-on experience with title, surveys, and commercial closings, including the ability to manage a closing through post-closing independently.

• Broad transactional real estate knowledge beyond basic document preparation, with experience in commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, or financing.

• Experience with both transactional real estate and land use work is relevant.

• Strong attention to detail, polished written work, and a stable employment history.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $100,000 to $130,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

This is an on-site role based in Roseland, New Jersey, with work in the office five days per week.
