Real Estate Paralegal

A well-established law firm in Newark is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong transactional experience handling sophisticated NJ/NY commercial real estate matters. Key Responsibilities: Manage commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing Review title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and environmental reports Prepare title/survey memoranda, title objection letters, and responses Draft and review transactional documents including purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, deeds, transfer tax forms, UCC filings, escrow letters, and closing documents Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and clients throughout the transaction process Maintain closing checklists, timelines, and critical dates Resolve title and survey issues and assist in obtaining final title policies and endorsements Handle multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism Qualifications: 7–10 years of NJ/NY commercial real estate paralegal experience within a law firm environment Strong knowledge of title and survey review, title insurance policies, ALTA/CLTA endorsements, and NJ bulk sale applications Extensive understanding of commercial real estate transactions and financing processes Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
