Position: Technology & Cybersecurity Risk Management Analyst Duration: Contract (1 year+) Location: Plano, Texas, United States Work Arrangement: Hybrid in Plano, TX Role Summary: Join a growing Cybersecurity Division and play a key role in strengthening an enterprise‑wide risk management program. As a T&CRM Analyst, you'll conduct risk assessments, evaluate control effectiveness, and guide stakeholders through risk‑based decision‑making using industry‑leading frameworks like NIST, COBIT, and ISO 27001. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging risk professional to deepen their technical expertise, build executive‑level communication skills, and grow within a structured, high‑visibility risk function. Responsibilities: Conduct risk intake, assessments, triage sessions, and stakeholder discussions Evaluate technology and cybersecurity risks using NIST, COBIT, and ISO frameworks Identify, document, and assess inherent, residual, and emerging risks Review and evaluate control effectiveness; map risks to controls and policy requirements Facilitate control walkthroughs with control owners and stakeholders Document risk statements, evidence, and assessment results across governance tools and Office applications Develop risk treatment recommendations and track remediation through closure Escalate overdue actions and significant control or compliance concerns Prepare executive‑ready risk reports, dashboards, and governance materials Ideal Candidates Will Have: A passion for growing within technology and cybersecurity risk management Comfort engaging Control Owners and stakeholders in structured risk conversations Strong documentation habits and attention to detail A collaborative, cross‑functional mindset Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, compliance, or related discipline Foundational knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and security control frameworks (NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001) Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders on projects/initiatives Strong written and verbal communication skills Other Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CoPilot Familiarity with ServiceNow Project management and process improvement capabilities Calance Consultant Benefits Offerings: EPO/PPO Medical Plan (Anthem) HMO/PPO Dental programs (Anthem) Vision - VSP (MetLife) 401K VOYA Retirement vesting program Who is Calance?
