In this role, you'll be at the center of the guest experience, inspiring your team to deliver warm, efficient, and exceptional service from arrival through departure.As a key leader within the hotel, you'll oversee daily front office operations, develop and coach your team, and partner closely with departments throughout the property to create a seamless experience for every guest. This is an opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems, and setting the standard for outstanding service.What you'll doLead and inspire the front office team, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.Oversee daily front desk operations to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.Coach, develop, and recognize team members while supporting recruiting, selection, onboarding, training, and performance management.Partner with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest journey and smooth property operations.Address guest concerns and service opportunities with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-focused approach.Support cash handling, daily operational controls, and front office procedures.Ensure team members are knowledgeable about hotel services, systems, and guest service standards.Use operational and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.Maintain a visible leadership presence and set the example for exceptional hospitality.What you bring2+ years of hotel front desk management or supervisory experience, or experience in a related hospitality field.Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and motivating others.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.A genuine commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with hotel technology and Microsoft Office.Experience with Opera PMS and Micros preferred/required.Prior cash handling experience.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.Why this opportunity?At Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, you'll have the opportunity to lead a talented team while playing a key role in the guest experience at one of San Diego's most vibrant destinations.
