Human Resources ManagerOur client, TMP Architecture is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team! They are a professional Midwest architecture firm of creatively focused individuals who specialize in the planning and design of educational facilities for all stages of life. Expertise in learning environments for the arts, sciences, sports and recreation, health and wellness, and media is reinforced by a commitment to client service, project value, and innovative solutions. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of all Human Resource functions across the firm. The selected candidate will also provide general administrative support with an emphasis on human resources projects including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits administration, maintaining electronic filing systems, and onboarding. The ideal candidate will be able to support organizational growth and employee development while ensuring compliance in all areas of employment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, maintain, and train staff on HR policies and proceduresDirect onboarding, open enrollment, and hiring processesManage payroll, benefits administration, compliance, documentation, and recordkeepingPartner with firm leadership to achieve key strategic initiativesSupervise HR Coordinator with day to day dutiesManage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer coordinationServe as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and resolving workplace issuesAdminister performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and corrective actionCoordinate employee training, development, and continuing education programsAdminister leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and disability claimsMaintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with federal, state, and local requirementsOversee HRIS data integrity and generate reports for leadership as neededSupport workplace safety initiatives and manage workers' compensation claimsConduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding processMonitor and communicate changes in employment law to ensure ongoing organizational complianceRequirementsBachelor's degree in a business-related field; Human Resources preferredProfessional in Human Resources certification preferred (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)Minimum of three (3) years of experience at the HR Manager or Generalist levelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional with experience at a professional services firm preferredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local labor lawsStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively prioritize competing demandsFlexibility, adaptability, and initiativeBenefitsCompetitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000Excellent benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.)Paid Time Off and paid holidaysOpportunities for continued HR training and professional developmentA collaborative, design-driven work environment alongside talented professionals.
