Control & Equipment Company is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to help commercial building owners, facility leaders, engineers, contractors, and other decision-makers improve the performance, comfort, efficiency, and sustainability of their buildings.
You'll represent innovative building automation, HVAC controls, energy-management, and commercial HVAC solutions —working as a trusted advisor rather than simply selling a product.

What you'll do
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Identify new opportunities and develop new commercial accounts.
Meet with customers to understand their business, facility, and operational challenges.
Recommend building automation, HVAC controls, equipment, service, retrofit, and energy-efficiency solutions.
Lead customers through a consultative sales process from initial conversation through project completion.
Prepare and present professional proposals with support from our engineering, estimating, and inside-sales teams.
Negotiate contracts and close profitable business.
Coordinate with project management, engineering, and service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate forecasts using CRM software.
Represent CEC at customer meetings, networking events, professional organizations, and industry functions.

Your background
Experience in outside sales, account management, business development, or consultative B2B sales is valuable.
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
Building Automation Systems (BAS)
HVAC or HVAC controls
Commercial building systems
Energy management
Mechanical or electrical construction
Commercial real estate
Facilities management
Technical or industrial sales
Project-based sales
Schneider Electric EcoStruxure or similar technologies
