Job Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, resolve issues, and perform regular calibration and maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection as required and prepare samples for analytical procedures.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, mentor new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout your tenure with us.
