Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient care and clinical duties.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient services.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, care instructions, and healthcare services.
• Provide professional interpretation and communication support for Spanish-speaking patients when needed.
• Assist with administrative duties, including phone calls, documentation, and coordination of services.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable privacy and healthcare regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and respect toward patients, families, and coworkers.
• Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency required .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
• Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and established healthcare procedures.
