Contract Litigation Attorney - Sacramento (Full-Time)

Adams and Martin Group is assisting its well-respected Sacramento law firm with a full time (40hrs/week) Contract-hire Attorney role. This position will support senior associates and partners in complex litigation practices throughout Northern California. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who is eager to build litigation experience, work directly with clients, and grow within a fast paced, collaborative environment.

Position is in office 5 days/week. Only candidates that can meet this requirement will be considered.

This position may be considered contract-hire for the right candidate after evaluation of contract performance.

Position Responsibilities
* Assist in managing complex litigation cases from intake through resolution
* Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence
* Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
* Assist and prepare for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation events across Northern California
* Contribute to case strategy and support the broader litigation team

Qualifications
* Active California Bar license required (in good standing)
* MUST reside in Sacramento, CA metro market (on-site 5 days/week; minimum 40hrs/week)
* 2-5 years of legal experience (junior attorneys encouraged to apply)
* Strong legal writing and analytical skills
* Self starter who enjoys working with the public and thrives in a team setting
