We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Ortho Care Physical Therapy, located in beautiful Boca Grande, Florida. In this full-time position, the Physical Therapist will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Work Environment

This role is centered in a vibrant rehabilitation center where our team cultivates a culture of teamwork and excellence. Operating from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, you will work onsite with a diverse patient demographic. Our clinic environment is designed to encourage interactions not only with fellow therapists but also with various healthcare professionals, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' conditions to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and improving functional abilities.
• Deliver one-on-one physical therapy sessions that incorporate various therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities.
• Remain actively engaged with a manageable patient caseload, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention tailored to their individual recovery goals.
• Work closely with patients to motivate and guide them through their rehabilitation exercises, providing continuous encouragement and support.
• Utilize cost-effective treatment methods, advocating for non-surgical solutions and lifestyle modifications to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, with a strong emphasis on compliance and detail.
• Continuously assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to promote a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and patients with chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a foundation of knowledge in rehabilitation practices and patient care.
• Candidates must possess a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven expertise in utilizing various manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to develop and implement successful exercise programs are essential.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly Web PT, is preferred for effective documentation and patient management.
• A comprehensive understanding of evidence-based physical therapy approaches is necessary to provide the best care possible.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Experience in designing tailored fitness and wellness programs that address individual patient needs.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate patients through challenging therapy sessions.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to create a cohesive treatment plan.

Compensation and Benefits
