Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans focused on enhancing patient mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Direct the treatment of clients to prevent disabilities and relieve pain, ensuring that all procedures align with the established plan of care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities, using various diagnostic tests to identify areas of concern and monitor progress.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in their treatment practices and interventions to ensure continuity of care.
• Regularly assess patients' environments and suggest modifications to promote greater independence during recovery.
• Deliver manual and therapeutic exercises while instructing patients on non-manual activities that support their rehabilitation.
• Administer treatments that may involve the use of physical agents, traction, and massage, while adjusting strategies based on each patient's needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, review, and update comprehensive patient care plans.
• Prepare and maintain detailed clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment goals and procedures, fostering an environment of trust and support.
• Actively participate in case conferences to discuss patient progress and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Provide timely documentation and reporting in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants, offering guidance during their sessions with patients.
• Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by management to support the overall success of the department.

Compensation and Benefits
