We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness, located in the scenic Port Charlotte, Florida. This full-time position involves delivering high-quality, hands-on patient care in an established outpatient setting. You will play a critical role in assessing mobility restrictions, developing tailored rehabilitation plans, and guiding patients on their journey to recovery. The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

You will work onsite in our well-equipped outpatient office, designed to create a comfortable and effective therapy experience for patients. Our facility features state-of-the-art equipment and treatment spaces conducive to various rehabilitation therapies. The office operates Monday through Friday, with clinical hours from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility for four 10-hour shifts. Your daily schedule will allow you to focus on delivering uninterrupted patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their mobility limitations and functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise regimens, providing clear instructions on how to track their progress effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and wellness coaches, to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modern electrotherapy methods, as part of treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating interdisciplinary communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical patients, and those with chronic conditions affecting mobility. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Florida physical therapy license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and develop rapport.
• Excellent clinical decision-making abilities, ensuring that treatment plans are evidence-based and patient-centric.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with a broad range of conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related injuries.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and patient tracking.
