Eye Care Professionals is seeking a motivated, organized, and patient-focused individual to join our growing practice as a Surgery Scheduler / Patient Care Coordinator . What You'll Do

As a Surgery Scheduler, you will play a key role in coordinating patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience from consultation through surgery day.

During training, you will rotate through front-office positions to gain a comprehensive understanding of patient flow and practice operations. Once trained, you will transition into a dedicated surgery scheduling role.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating cataract, laser, and specialty surgical procedures
• Educating patients on the surgical process and answering questions
• Scheduling surgeries and related appointments
• Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility
• Managing patient records and documentation
• Collecting payments and discussing financial responsibilities
• Communicating with surgery center, physicians, and patients
• Answering incoming calls and providing exceptional customer service
• Assisting with check-in and check-out processes during cross-training
• Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Schedule

Full-Time

• Monday Thursday: 7:15 AM 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:15 AM 12:00 PM

Compensation

$19.00 $24.00 per hour
Compensation is based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
