Physical Therapist

Provide specialized physical therapy services to patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. Evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance patient recovery while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation assistance, modalities, and wound care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments accordingly, and document outcomes in the clinical record.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, families, and caregivers to ensure optimal care and communication.
• Complete detailed discharge summaries and maintain accurate documentation of all clinical interventions.
• Support supervision of physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Missouri State Physical Therapist license.
• Possess at least 1 year of PT experience, with LTC or rehab setting background preferred.
• Ability to follow regulatory and clinical practice standards for documentation and procedures.
• Capable of performing thorough evaluations and adjusting care plans based on patient progress.
• New graduates with Level II clinical experience are eligible to apply.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
