Job Description

We are currently hiring an Assembler for our client, a leading Custom Foam Fabrication production facility. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling parts. Set up and operate a variety of equipment which performs a wide range of operations such as gluing, fusing, sawing for fabricated Foam parts. If you have assembly experience and a sharp eye for quality, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in such a manner that you get along with customers, suppliers, coworkers, and management.
• Read work orders and blueprints to determine the process to be used.
• Become familiar with a variety of materials and recognize them by the Material ID
• Select and properly handle materials.
• Observe equipment operations to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
• Verify that part match blueprint, work order and Acuity Foam Fabrication tolerance requirements.
• Accurately complete all required production records
• Perform general cleaning maintenance and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• May be required to stack, mark, pack and transport finished work pieces.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Prior experience as an assembler 3-6 months
• Ability to interpret work orders, and specifications
• Basic Math Skills, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to follow directions
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs

The base salary range for this position is $19+/hr., excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
