Position Title: Assembler Wage: $16/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:00pm-1:00am QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembler for a company in Waukesha, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 2nd shift. Assembler Responsibilities Read and understand information listed on work orders Identify components listed on work orders and match them to materials on pallets or in boxes Use assorted pneumatic and hand tools to assemble track components Understand how to properly set and use a torque wrench for manual torquing Read, set, and operate automatic torque machines for various hardware applications Complete torque sheets accurately and thoroughly Wind track groups on the winder and properly secure them Verify chain length by counting links to ensure accuracy Operate press machines and load materials after training is completed Assembler Requirements Prolonged standing for up to 100% of the shift Ability to lift between 50-70 pounds Ability to hold and handle heavy equipment Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting throughout approximately 75% of the shift Ability to solve practical problems and recognize when additional assistance is needed to perform duties safely and efficiently Ability to work alongside team members and interact respectfully with others Comfortable working in a dirty or industrial environment Ability to safely use basic hand tools and pneumatic power tools We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Monroechamber
