Billing Manager

DNA Partners is representing a highly regarded law firm seeking an experienced Billing Manager to oversee the firm's legal billing operations. This leadership role will manage complex billing processes, serve as the firm's billing systems expert, support attorneys and finance leadership, and drive operational excellence across billing, reporting, and revenue management functions. What You’ll Do: Oversee the full billing lifecycle, including prebills, invoice production, write-downs, adjustments, and collections support Manage complex billing arrangements, including hourly, fixed fee, blended rate, capped fee, and alternative fee structures Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines, outside counsel requirements, and e-billing standards Serve as the firm's subject matter expert for billing systems, including Finance Core, Coyote, and Tabs Work closely with attorneys and firm leadership to resolve billing issues and improve billing efficiency Lead, mentor, and develop billing staff while establishing quality control standards and billing deadlines What You Bring: 10+ years of progressive law firm billing experience Strong knowledge of legal billing rules, client guidelines, revenue cycles, and matter economics Hands‑on experience with Finance Core, Coyote, Tabs, or comparable legal billing platforms Experience managing billing teams and supporting attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities Experience with e‑billing platforms, client audits, and multi‑office law firm operations is highly preferred This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned legal billing professional to join a sophisticated law firm and play a key role in optimizing billing operations, financial performance, and client service. 25+ Years Strong.
