Service Advisor Automotive

DePaula Mazda is in need of a Service Advisor! Position Overview: DePaula Mazda is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our service department. The Service Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer experience while effectively communicating vehicle repair and maintenance needs between customers and the service team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people and can build trust with customers while helping them make informed decisions about their vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally when they arrive for service.
• Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle service or repair needs.
• Write up detailed and accurate repair orders.
• Check for open manufacturer recalls and communicate applicable recall information to customers.
• Review recommended maintenance and repairs with customers.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, including updates on vehicle status, estimated completion times, and any additional work needed.
• Clearly explain recommended repairs and services while helping customers understand the importance and benefits of completing the work.
• Coordinate with technicians and the service department to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Review completed work with customers and explain services performed.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and work to achieve high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
• Follow up with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain accurate records and follow dealership/service department procedures.

Qualifications:

• Automotive Service Advisor experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to explain automotive repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers.
• Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Performance: Estimated annual compensation: $50,000+ Additional performance-based bonuses are available based on customer satisfaction (CSI), service performance, and other applicable department goals. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM; Saturday, 7:45 AM–4:00 PM
