Volt is hiring a  Bilingual Part- Time HR Administrator  for a leading organization in Salinas, CA.

As a  Bilingual   HR Administrator , you will:

• Track and update employee attendance in company systems.
• Follow up on absences and correct timecard issues.
• Add new hires to attendance trackers and monitor staffing updates.
• Respond to employee questions by email, phone, text, or in person.
• Take daily meeting notes and complete general office tasks (filing, scanning, organizing).
• Keep employee records accurate across systems (Winteam, UKG, Teams, rosters).
• Process employee removals, compliance checks, and personnel forms.
• Work with HR and Operations to ensure accurate information.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

This is a  Part-time,   temp to hire opportunity. 20-24 hours per week

Schedule:

Monday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

Tuesday: 8:00am– 1:00pm

Wednesday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Thursday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Basic administrative or office experience (HR or payroll experience helpful).
• Ability to learn HR systems such as Winteam, UKG, or similar tools.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with attendance tracking or payroll systems.
• Familiarity with I-9s, E-Verify, or compliance processes.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams or digital collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of payroll processes or workers’ compensation.

Pay Rate:  $20/hr. -$23/hr. DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
