Weekend Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Weekend Receptionist to join our team at Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri. As a Weekend Receptionist, you will work under the direction of the Office Manager to perform day-to-day receptionist and clerical duties in accordance with current Federal, State, local and facility regulations, guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Answer the phone, direct calls, and take messages

• Greet visitors and provide directions to specific locations within the facility

• Monitor the activities of residents going in and out of the front door exit and direct or escort those who need supervision

• Perform various clerical duties, including filing resident, employee, and business records

• Assist with handling the mail, including mailing care plan letters and receiving and delivering mail to the appropriate departments

• Maintain and update the resident room board in the lobby area

• Report resident incidents and accidents to the nurse immediately, and report personal injuries to the Office Manager

• Report any suspected or observed resident abuse to the Administrator immediately

• Observe and report needed repairs and service issues

• Attend all departmental meetings and/or in-services as required

• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language

• Ability to work weekends, with varying shifts
