We are seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time contract role for the 2026/2027 academic year. This opportunity supports school-based services in a vibrant, welcoming community and is open to both monolingual and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) professionals. You'll collaborate with teams committed to students' success and enjoy a role tailored to skill development and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- SLP-CCC and school-based pediatric experience highly valued
- Experience serving K-12 populations desired
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus, but both monolingual and bilingual SLPs are welcome
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and create effective interventions
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based activities
