\n• Strong hands-on experience in Plan to Produce / SAP PP:
\n• MRP, BOM, Routing
\n• Production Orders
\n• Shop Floor / Manufacturing Execution
\n \nRoles & Responsibilities
\nWe are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in Plan to Produce (P2P) / Production Planning processes. The candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing ABAP objects in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, supporting manufacturing and production processes through high-quality, scalable technical solutions.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nABAP Development
\n• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
\n• Develop classical, interactive, and ALV reports using procedural and OO ABAP.
\n• Create module pool programs and custom transactions where required.
\nEnhancements & Integrations
\n• Implement BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots (implicit/explicit).
\n• Develop and maintain integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and APIs.
\n• Work on output forms (SmartForms, SAPscript, Adobe Forms).
\nPlan to Produce (PP) Functional Alignment
\n• Collaborate with PP/QM functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs.
\n• Support manufacturing processes including:
\no Production Planning (MRP, BOM, Routing)
\no Shop Floor Execution (Production Orders, Confirmations)
\no Quality Management (Inspection lots, results recording)
\no Inventory Movements (GI/GR for Production)
\nS/4HANA & Advanced ABAP
\n• Develop S/4HANA-ready ABAP objects including:
\no CDS Views
\no Performance-optimized Open SQL
\no Code remediation for S/4HANA migrations
\n• Exposure to RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) is an added advantage.
\nTesting & Support
\n• Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT cycles, and resolve defects.
\n• Provide production support and handle critical business cycles.
\nDocumentation & Governance
\n• Prepare technical specifications (TS), design documents, and code review artifacts.
\n• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, best practices, and Clean Core principles.
\nGood to Have Skills
\n• SAP QM integration with PP
\n• SAP Fiori / UI5 exposure
\n• SAP BTP / RAP / APIs exposure
\n• Experience in Greenfield or Brownfield S/4HANA implementations
\n \nGeneric Managerial Skills, If any
\n• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
\n• Development experience with onsite/offshore teams.
\n• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
