Location Our campus is located at 1601 Maple Street, Carrollton, GA 30118. Faculty and staff members are expected to be physically present on campus as needed to support the in-person educational experience and on-campus vitality at the University of West Georgia. Depending upon teaching assignments and student demand, this could include the Carrollton or Newnan campuses. Job Summary This position is a financial leadership role working with the Deans, Chairs, and other academic leadership in all matters involving the budget and personnel matters. Other duties include Oversee administrative actions; Develop, design, and present training materials to staff assistants and Budgeting: Coordinate, plan, prepare, allocate, and verify funds for the departmental units' annual operating budgets, personal services budgets, budget amendments, and summer school budgets. Prepare Management's discussion, analysis and recommendations for the Dean's office. Advise and assist Dean(s) on financial matters. Serve as primary liaison involving financial matters. develop, facilitate, and enhance financial policies, procedures, and paperwork encompassing internal accounting, databases, and control systems related to the management of general operation of the college(s) and departmental units in compliance with university and BOR policies and procedures. Analyze actual expenses; maintain systems related to budgetary control; prepare management reports, budget amendments, and financial analysis. Manage and monitor the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, financial affairs, funding sources, personnel funding revenue, departmental expenditures, and reimbursements, approvals expenditures based on available funding. Determine the college's end-of-year sweep fund; summarize Dean's request for end-of-year and capital projects and other information requests from the Dean or VPAA. Assist in the coordination and resolution of budget discrepancies. Assist Department chairs in matters related to hiring, budget, purchasing and travel procedures, etc.; Responsible for handling confidential functions for the administrative units; Prepare summer contracts and budget. May Supervise Adm Support 1 -
Divisional Position Management Tracking and Payroll Oversight Vice President Level Responsible for overall management of position tracking for all faculty lines changes. To include responsibility for the part time faculty payroll management for the division of more than 350-part time faculty each semester, the summer studies payroll for summer semester, and the vacancy pool. 2 -

Human Resources Academic College or School: Responsible for HR Management for the Administrative offices office. Create, analyze and implement systems to manage faculty records including independent interpretation of BOR and SACS policies, manage databases for college(s) programs. Coordinate and analyze funds for faculty hires College wide for administrative areas. Track and manage all related faculty positions by budgeted positions. Assist departmental staff as needed with database of faculty information in order to keep accurate records. Supervises records management and retention activities. Review and process the required employment paperwork for new and returning faculty hires. Verify credentials and documents for new faculty by reviewing all Authorizations to Employ for faculty credentials. 4 -
Data management and analysis: Prepare moderate to complex reports for the Dean's offices to include departmental statistics for faculty workload and student enrollment over the course of several years and analyze data. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements
