Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack / UI

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering, with at least 5 years of applied experience
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including setting expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; experience coaching engineers in safe, compliant adoption
• Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• In-depth knowledge of financial services and its IT systems
• Practical cloud-native experience
• Preferred: Proficiency in Angular/JavaScript and React UI development
• Preferred: Ability to independently manage UI and related development activities
• Preferred: Java development and database knowledge

• Create software solutions, design and develop systems, and troubleshoot technical issues using creative approaches to solve complex problems
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes; set validation standards and promote reusable patterns
• Use Software Development Life Cycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to eliminate them or automate their remediation, improving application and system stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical capabilities, and suitability for existing systems and information architecture
